Staying safe in the sun this summer:
There are so many helpful tips for staying safe in the sun for both children and adults, they are very simple steps but they will keep you protected throughout the summer and avoid that nasty sunburn that everyone dreads, especially if you are pale like myself.

Stay Hydrated:
Make sure you drink plenty and not just of the alcoholic variety I know it's a lot nicer to indulge in cocktails or a cheeky Pimms but it actually dyhydrates your skin and can casue fainting and severe headaches.
Makes sure you applying sun cream regularly as it keeps your skin from burning also a good thing to look out for is the UV rating which is in stars on the back of the bottle and that is a good indication of how good that sun cream is.
I personally use factor 50 all the time in both England and abroad as my skin burns a lot as I am very fair.
After sun is key even if you haven't burnt whilst being in the sun it will then add moisture back into your skin and will prevent your tan from fading aim for a body butter type of cream for added moisture.
If it's sunny protect your scalp it's important as your head is going to be one of the hottest parts of you and your scalp will be exposed. If you don't like hats then making sure your parting is covered is key.
Sunglasses are important for keeping the sun out of your eyes. Make sure the UV in the glasses is high they recommend over 400 as that's better for keeping your eyes safe.
