Flawless Face Routine

I usually have dry skin so make up doesn't really sit on my face well so this is what I use on a daily basis to try and keep my skin as hydrated as possible.

This is my fave balm based moisturiser its very inexpensive as well I paid £5 for it and this is what I would apply directly after a shower.

Next I would use flawless blur from Olay which is £8.99 but well worth it I use it as a pre primer base as it's really nourishing.

I use this as a primer and it's really good and not greasy and such a steal at £8.99. Most other primers break me out not this one.

This is my fave foundation this or just the regular infallible there both £8.99, the matte is great for day time and I would use the dewy one for night time as the highlight shows up more.

For a face powder I use Mac studio fix powder in NW10 but only to set the foundation.

I love this under eye concealer £6.99 complete bargain, I just use a beauty blender to blend the concealer under my eyes so it highlights and brightens.

Nani Liquid Lipsticks

 Okay so my Lipstick ban is failing miserably I brought 5 Nani liquid lipsticks from amazon as they were so cheap at only £1.30 a shade. The colours I picked were very me and really wearable, they really are long lasting I wore the red one for 4 hours before I reapplied and it didn't need that much to look flawless again.

Perfect waves in under 15 minutes

Firstly you'll have to excuse the pouty Selfie and focus on the hair. I brought this Lee Stafford Argon Oil waving wand in Boot for £35 reduced from £55 last Christmas.

This curling wand is very much you section your hair and wrap around the wand and leave for about 10-20 seconds and gently let the hair drop, sometimes depending on how long they have been on I find I might have to go over bits of the first half of my head to make sure the curls are the same.  

 The wave is very natural the longer you have the wand on the hair then you can get a bouncier curl/wave.

So I took the plunge and set up a Youtube channel, to my friends I'm the chatty/bubbly one of the group to strangers I'm the quiet one that looks uncomfortable in huge crowds.

Everyone is moving on and I'm still in the same place!

Today was a very exciting day for a good friend of mine she got engaged to her girlfriend and after hearing all the details, I had a mix of emotions.
I am clearly very happy for them at this exciting time but now the realisation has set in what the Hell am I doing with my life?
I'm still I'm the same job, I live with my parents whom I love and I'm 100% a single Pringle.
Should I be running off to sign up to every dating site there is to find Mr Right or looking for someone to settle down. I'm ecstatic for them as I will be a wedding for the books and they are very happy in and genuinely in love. It does kinda make you want the same for yourself.
So fight or flight stay and embrace it and pray I get there in the end or run for the hills and hide.

The Stigma Of Online Dating

Now having been single myself for lets say a good while and meeting someone the conventional way is hard, I've resorted to online dating although my horror stories are few these are some of the guys you will come across;

The clinger:
There will always be that one guy you can't get rid of that's messaged you like 30 times in one day and you've responded to two just to be polite. He's usually a nice person with no boundaries and he will usually get the hint within the week.

The casual dater:
He's the guy that's stereo typically good looking but he's also dating 15 other girls and will probably call you the wrong name at least on your date, I'd say forget him and quick all he will bring is misery as he will never have time for a proper relationship as he will be too busy messaging 30 girls on Tinder. I have experienced one of these guys and he was genuinely, we stuck to friends and now I get to hear all his escapades, nothing can shock me anymore.

The crazy cat:
This type I've been on dates with a few times and they seem normal when you're talking to them and then bam out of the blue they shock the hell out of you. My worst date to date was when the guy rocked up in his Hawaiian beach attire, I'm talking shorts, Hawaiian shirt and flip flops and straw hat it was winter. I made a speedy exit and never spoke to him again.

The bang and boot:
There's always a guy you come across that only has one thing on his mind and it was never to end in a relationship. Now this guy is usually honest and puts all his cards on the table with some random sexual proses. If that's what you too are looking for then he's your guy, if your looking for romance don't be the next notch on his bed post.

The nice guy:
He's the hardest to find in fact he's like a unicorn, do they really exist? I believe they do but they are usually taken. Keep your eyes peeled for this one, and if you found one tell us where you found him, so we can go and get our own.

The married man:
The guy that seems to enjoy cheating on his wife and will troll these dating sites looking for the person to do that with. Now he's hard to identify unless you stalk him before hand or you see him take his rings off, or I've someone who kept it on and just be very blasé about it.

These opinions aren't to be taken to seriously. Every man is different!

Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Finale!!!

Pretty Little Liars Season Finale was epic although I feel like we've only just got back into before they stop it again and we have to wait till June for season 7.
Can we just take about dead Mrs D creeping me the hell out, so glad Ali wasn't actually crazy although Dr Rollins has been dodgy since he was introduced.
Our original ships are working there way back to each other HALEB, SPOBY and EZRIA. Although I actually like SPALEB and think they kinda even the other one out where I feel Hanna was just selfish with him and didn't tell him anything.
EZRIA were always gonna be end game, but what was with the cheating in this weeks episode just break up with the one you don't love or there really isn't any point.
Hanna got stolen but we've already seen the he's coming clip so we know they get her back in the end.
I'm really confused as to where Marlene king is gonna take it from here but we've been promised drama and way more romance, roll on June!

Olay hydration flawless blur

Now this a product I was so confused by as its called flawless blur hydration, I thought it must be a primer but it was a moisturiser that's a thick consistency. I find primers on my skin make no difference what so ever so I've been layer this and then the Loreal matte infallible primer which together they keep my make up on all day.
This product is really moisturising and has spf 15 in it.
Fairly sure this product is £8.99

Battle Of The Silver Shampoo's and Conditionors

After my hair disaster a few weeks ago I still needed to take the yellow out of my hair and try to tone down what was left. So I went out and stocked up on all the big brands that quote there's is the best silver shampoo out there, I put them to the test!

 Bleach London is isn't too bad price wise at £5 a bottle. I noticed the difference straight away but it was just making the ends of my hair silver and a grey colour and the rest of my isn't wasn't really doing anything to it. I would buy the conditioner a 100 times over it left my hair feeling very soft and smooth which I struggle with as I have Curly hair.

Touch of silver is my favourite out of them all I find it lightens my hair straight away and it works on the whole of my hair after leaving it on for 10mins it also has a real shimmer to it as well. The conditioner is on point and leaves my hair feeling so soft and silky. This is the product I've re purchased since and got through another bottle.

Prices range I tend to try and buy when its on offer as my 300ml bottle is £6 but you can find it for half price, I always stock up then.

Now I didn't rate this one but think that was the fact I'd tried the others and it did nothing in comparison, the blonde conditioner I really liked though but that's cause it was the thickness of a mask. I'm sure these were £5 so pricey as they didn't do the job I wanted them to.

So my winner is Touch of Silver as I felt it worked best for my type.

Make up Revolution- Blush Palette Sugar and Spice

This Palette is amazing especially as I'm a sucker for a good highlighter and this palette has 2 very wearable ones. There are 6 blush shades I would only use 2 the lighter ones as the darker ones wouldn't match well with my skin tone, too dark for me.

Such a steal at only £10 from Superdrug.

Cheap Eye Shadow Palettes. In the Buff

I find W7 do some really good cheaper alternatives to the naked palettes. I own naked 3 and I do love it but these are just as pigmented and you can buy all 4 of them and have change from what you would have spent on a Naked palette.

In the Buff its a neutrals palette with lots of both matte and shimmery shades, very every day easy wear. They range from £6 depending where you buy from.

Discovering new face masks! Quick Fix

I popped into Boots a few weeks ago because I was in desperate need of some new face packs and masks, I usually only go for the sheet masks as my skin can sometimes react badly to certain products.

I found these for a steal in Boots for £5 a tube and they last for up to 10 masks, I personally think you would get more out than that.

This is the exfoliating scrub and it has a lovely grainy texture the kind that you would find in any day scrub, I like this product a lot the only downfall with it is I can't tell the difference afterwards.  

This mega moisture one is favourite though afterwards I can feel a real difference in that my skin is so smooth and it lasts for days. So I will definitely be re-buying this when mine has run out.

The range has other products in it all for different skin types and to combat different things. I've only seen them in Boots but I'm sure they are available else where.

The New Me

I'm all for change so I randomly one day brought hair dye and dyed my hair blonde, my friends would not see this as odd as I'm an impulsive person but it looked awful and a lot of different dye and a hairdresser I'm finally happy with the look.

 Now I've explained the random hair colour this will be my get to know me post.
I'm Ashleigh I'm 23 very nearly 24. I've always really enjoyed other people's blog but never had the confidence to break out on my own which is strange as I spend all my money on beauty related things.
This will be my beauty bible all the products I love as well the ones I loathe, with a cheeky film or TV Show review as I love me some pretty little liars, as the finale is this week.
I love spending time with friends and family, I enjoy my job which is within the education system.
I love team internet and all the wonderful things youtubers and bloggers are doing.
